This chapter of Sean and Xander had so many emotional peaks, it’ll keep you on your toes. As you would expect from this author, the sexy times between Sean and Xander really start to heat up to epic hotness levels. Sean is full steam ahead in his feelings about Xander. They were brought together at this time after so many years of knowing each other for a reason. Sean and Xander are what the expression “everything happens for a reason” means. They had some real conversations that made my heart melt a bit. I have to say, I really loved how the next chapter of Sean and Xander’s relationship unfolded. While Sean takes his injury and recovery in stride, Xander has a harder time reconciling the events of his stalker and Sean being injured while saving his life. At the end of book one I was left saying “I need to know what happens next”! Well, next arrived and we were thrown right back into the action! We return with Sean having been injured while protecting Xander in his role as his bodyguard. He did an amazing job on this narration! Things were really getting good in the second book of the Prime Time series. They really matched what I had in my head as I read the books first.

I would def listen to more of this narrators work.Ĭharlie David’s narration was so fantastic for this series, and it definitely continued into this book. I swear I felt myself blushing while listening in my car on the way to work. He had distinctive voices for each character and when the steamy bits came about he really shined. Damn cliffhangers Now the narration: Charlie David did this book justice. I guess we won't find out until Headlines releases in late September. I'm hoping these two are strong enough to weather the storm together instead of apart.

I have a feeling much of the last book in the series will be dealing with this particular plot development. Then it happens. The Ella Frank punch to the gut cliffhanger that has you swearing after you turn the page and that's all there is. By the time you make it to the almost end you are feeling pretty good about Xander and Sean's relationship and its solidity. We get to see more of Sean's sweeter side and watch him try to share his "hobbies" with an allergic to outdoors Xander. It was slower paced than book 1 with a lot of the book spent with Sean and Xander dealing with their emotions about not only what happened, but for each other. Book 1 contained all the drama, the buildup, the big OMG moment. This is book 2 in the Prime Time series and in all honesty, it was kind of a quick read.
